Our Story

Nummydoodles was born of a desire to create a Peanut Butter and marshmallow cookie, the perfect cookie, over 30 years ago. Alone, several beers deep, a man just leaning into his early twenties, I wandered around the sparse kitchen of my rented 2nd-floor apartment looking for a yummy snack. My desire was for a peanut butter cookie that I could spread a healthy glob of Marshmallow Fluff® on and then devour like a schoolchild at snack time. Unfortunately, I had no peanut butter cookies, but I did have some chocolate chip, as well as half a jar of peanut butter, and the aforementioned Fluff. So, in that moment, after dabbing a hunk of Skippy® on the cookie and then a dollop of the marshmallow, Nummydoodles were born. And they were fudgekin DELICIOUS! As years passed, and after I’d concocted various versions of Nummies not far from the original, I realized they were missing a little something…and that something was a chocolate bath! And that’s exactly what they got. Except this time it was a homemade chocolate chip cookie cooked in a muffin tin, allowing the little indent to serve as a home for the PB&M to come. A few friends tried these early Nummies and were transfixed, obsessed, completely enamored, as was I, but alas, they went dormant. For over 20 years! Why? Life. Health. Moves. Careers. Life again. However, they have been resurrected, and dare I say, better than ever!
